Secluded luxury

This resort is unique being that it is centred around wellness. It is far from any main attractions of phuket but the hotel offers a shuttle for an extra cost. We had a few issues with our room but got a free upgrade straight away from the manager at the front desk, she was extremely helpful and apologetic. The staff made the experience special, we developed friendships with a few of guys at the restaurant because we went there so often, which made our dinners fun. The spa is beautiful, although very costly. The food at all of the restaurants is beautiful, definitely not cheap like the street food but that is what you get when you stay at a luxury resort. I can’t fault Amatara and i really enjoyed me stay, perfect for a restful, recharging getaway.

In the middle of nowhere, which is perfect
I have been to this resort now three times since my first stay in 2016. It is as wonderful as I remember it, with the friendly staff and the infinity pool being a highlight.

Beautiful resort
Located the other side of Phuket island. Sanctuary compound with private pool facing the seafront. Wellness spa. Great getaway!
