Restful

we finished our visit to coastal thailand with a three night stay at the newly opened sensi mar beachfront resort at khao lak. the hotel is lovely, with beautiful finshings, excellent facilities and an excellent beach.

it is a quiet place with many couples our age and older and a smattering of younger couples. if you are swedish or german you will feel most at home with your many, many countrymen.

the hotel has a daily schedule of activities coordinated by delightful recreation staff. we did the aqua fitness, yoga and thai cooking class. we loved the yoga; the aqua fitness was a bit basic and was cancelled on one occasion which was a disappointment to us. the cooking class was fun, though very short (about 20 minutes).

Wonderful resort .. very friendly staff especially Chef Dhom in beach restaurant. Really enjoyed our stay.
