This place was absolutely beautiful. Favorite place we stayed in Thailand. one thing I will say is if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. We are a young active couple and didn't have any issue with walking the hill to the room, the trail into town, getting in and out of longtail boats, etc. The beach on front of the hotel is great for swimming and if you walk to either side there are other beaches that are also great for swimming. The longtail boats run on a schedule and take you to town if you want to avoid the walk. The walk to town takes about 15 minutes. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Great experience.
