We noticed that this resort won an award in 2016 and we can see why. The location is stunning and the concept imaginative. However, there are a few improvements now that need to be made. We were upgraded from our standard booking to a superb huge room in a small apartment block with stunning views of Long Beach., The room was clean although the water didn’t appear fresh so couldn’t make tea. We could have done with teabags and a fresh water supply in the room. The paths up and down to reception are steep as is the path to long beach and we’re grateful for the rope ! The reception dining area didn’t feel clean and seemed cluttered and dusty with artifacts. The sandy floor needed a good sweep to remove bits of toast etc. We noticed that the female staff appeared grumpy while the young male staff were extremely helpful. With a bit of effort this beautiful resort could be award winning again.
