Unrealized potential

I thought the premium price would be justified by great location and room size (45sqm suite). But no. The location looks good on the map, very close to the corner of the Old City. But the street is not so friendly for visitors. Traffic is bad, and we had to walk a long way looking for places to eat. There was a bad smell of sewage coming up from the drain pipes for a couple of days. This was not a big problem because it dissipated after running the A/C for a few minutes. It was resolved completely by day 3 A bigger problem was the lack of furniture. Why have a big suite with no table or chairs to sit at for working or eating? Empty floor space was ideal for dancing, though. BREAKFAST TIP: there are only three choices. The yogurt/meusli/fruit plate is very good. The "American" breakfast, not so much.

Trendy hotel just outside Old City
Great location half way between Old City and Night Bazaar. Close to food, laundry and transportation. Included breakfast was a nice perk and the attached restaurant had a trendy vibe.

Clean and convenient!
Very nice and clean room, staff was very helpful and kind. Close to the night market and breakfast was delicious.
