Beautiful room and great breakfast

We stayed in the slate for only 1 night, just before leaving Phuket to go back home, as it is 8 min drive to the airport.
Important to mention that it is far away from center, you will find few modest restaurants close to the hotel but no more than that.
The room was a great one, spacious and smelled wonderful and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was really great, amazing selection of food and good quality as well.
Three things I personally didn’t like; 1. It is a huge hotel, really really big they took us to our room using tuk tuk and it really takes time to walk to each of the pools or the lobby. 2. Too fancy to my taste, “grandiosity” is the right word and it was quite boring for us (young couple) as the pools were quiet, no music and no good vibes. Only quiet people sitting there doing nothing (again we were there for only one day). 3. Room service took too much time, expensive and really small proportion!
