It’s pretty much what you would expect for the price and the location is superb!
I stayed here for 4 nights with my Dad (nearly 70) and my older expat brother. We all had a hut each in a row, not facing the sea but a 30 second walk to it. Not really a beach as such but picturesque and nice hamocks and seats. At first I have to admit I was a little worried, very basic compared to what I’m used to with the Mrs. We had the fan rooms which to be fair did keep you nice and cool. Shower/bathroom was ok, hot water and fairly clean. Don’t expect a fridge or a safe or anything it’s literally just the bed and a few shelves but after one night I felt pretty settled in. Location to beach etc was great but if your a light sleeper you may wake up at 3am to base from the bars down the road but the fan noise kind of drowns it out. Watch out for mosquitoes like anywhere on the island they will bug u but there not bad as I expected. Over all I would recommend but I would never take my partner only because she’s terrified bugs and u will see your fair share if u stay here.
