We were happy with the location, there were lots of good bars and relatively cheap eats along the way to the hotel. It was RIGHT on the beach, which was really nice. Our room was really cheap because it was the rainy season, but it was also very, very damp. The hose in the bathroom leaked so the floor was constantly wet and you always ended up getting your legs wet when you used it. That wasn't so bad though. One of the windows wouldn't close and a stream of ants was constantly pouring in. I would still recommend it to backpackers though, it's a super chill place.
