In the heart of Pratunam, Bangkok...

Excellent location quick access to everywhere for those who like shopping eating entertainment and transport nodes namely Platinum Fashion Mall Pratunam Market, Airport Rail Link train station, early & late morning day market, night markets etc etc. Its easy to find if you can find First House hotel at Phetchaburi 19. The crowd takes some getting use to though, especially in the morning when you are out for breakfast or a short walk. Just enjoy the chaos that is Bangkok. Its a visual spectacle really with time & space being a premium. Fascinating to see the changing of the day & night traders using a given space with their tentages set up and wind down!!! Access to rooms is through one lift using a card system for safety but since the place is in the middle of crowded Pratunam, be wary of muggers and pickpocket gangs (Notices on display everywhere) following you around. Overall its a nice budget sanctuary from the walking shopping eating activities what with the heat & dust.

I won't come back at this hotel again.
