An OK place to stay if one wants a quiet, not too out of the way place to stay.

The P.S2 Resort seems to have been a grand old resort, in it's time. It's a very large property, with many units, large rooms and most necessities covered. The rooms are comfortable, but not attractive. They do have what one needs. The P.S2 seems to be a resort in diminishing repair and beauty, with even the landscaping wasting away. The pool is large and nice, but a bit too warm. Breakfast is six choices, but most are pretty good. The reception staff are nice, as is the married couple doing maintenance, however, at least one employee seems pretty agitated at having to do anything. It's on 2nd street and a short walk to the North end of the beach, but a fair ways from Bangla and a lot of Phuket's action. It's an ok place to stay if one wants a quiet but not too out of the way place to stay. DRC
