Clean and simple with fridge and air- conditioning.

You should really be paying 400-500 baht a night for a place like this maximum. Relatively cheap and cheerful with no hassel. Only downsides were the level of English to communicate with staff and distinct smell in the room - I can't describe it - I'm not sure if it's mothballs which have been used for storing linen or the way the rooms are cleaned, but it's not sweet like fresh laundry it's more like stagnant water or damp clothes you left in a bag for a few days. Anyway, those are the only minor complaints. Otherwise it's value for money and close to good bars and restaurants.
