We stayed at Fasai House for about a week. We were originally planning to stay a few nights to visit Khao Sok National Park, but after we arrived we decided to take a scuba certification course and go on a liveaboard.
The manager was flexible in allowing us to come and go between our trips. She offered to store our luggage during the 2 day/1 night tour we took in Khao Sok. We also stayed before and after our liveaboard. Several tour operators we spoke to in the area recommended Fasai House for value/location before we told them we were staying there.
The breakfast is good and reasonably priced, and the laundry service they offer is exceptional. Our clothes came back in 24 hours and were perfectly ironed.
The manager also helped us set up our tour to Khao Sok and a shuttle/ferry service to Ko Lipe. We were impressed by her constant presence and willingness to help.
The only drawback is the wifi--we found it slow and at times unreliable. It wasn't a big deal--lots of area restaurants have wifi and it was easy to take our computer out to use it if Fasai House network was not up to speed.
