Baan Phu Chalong is a nice little getaway consisting of 6 bungalows in a well kept and beautifully landscaped property. It is furnished adequately and has a nice, clean pool. It is directly across the street from the Phuket Botanical Garden so that is a good landmark to give your taxi driver. This hotel is a bit off the beaten track and in a very safe area, but you will need some type of transportation get anywhere. The front desk has contacts for motorbike and car rental. The beds are pretty hard, so if you are used to the ‘plush’ comfortable night’s sleep – you won’t get it here. It is run by an on-site Thai family with little English skills. No room service, but they do stock the mini bar and have some snacks. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we will go back in the future to this budget-friendly hotel.
