We really love the contemporary interior design of sala rattanakosin and most of all the fantastic view of Wat Arun from the deluxe room and hotel dining areas. So lovely at night when lit up! Breakfast and The River dining offers great food with attractive plating. The popular Rooftop bar has awesome view of Bangkok Riverside and other landmark sites like Wat Pho, Grand Palace, et al. Hotel has no elevator tho and is at the end of a strip of small shops, restos and right beside warehousing stores. Not favourable to seniors and the disabled. But the small restos have good food at affordable prices. There is a nice souvenir shop at the corner of the street. Wat Pho and Grand Palace are just walking distance and Wat Arun is just a short boat ride across the river.
