It was a very pleasant day when we decided to upgrade from deluxe to river view. At the window, the majestic Wat Arun sat across the river bank. It was such a treat to watch the boats passed by and when night falls, the cruises were all lit up. The service were very good and more than what we had expected from a boutique hotel, great breakfast and everyone was very friendly and spoke good English. They were always ready to help when required.
The location is near the wholesale area opposite Wat Pho so it can be a bit noisy during the day. The area reminded us of the old Thailand and it was all within a short distance to attractions like Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Grand Palace and the pier is just a stone's throw away. The room was good but I thought it could be better as there were mosquitoes and there was a small lizard inside the room on one of the nights. If they could do something to fill the gap on the window it could prevent this from happening again.
