Comfortable stay at a nice quiet resort

Booked for 2 nights not sure of how long I would need to stay in town, ended up staying 4 nights. Stayed one more night at the brand new PS hotel I spotted when I turned into the hotel parking lot. I have stayed here previously about 3 years ago, decided to give it another go mainly because it's cheap and for a bit of a change from my usual hotel, the Centara. Room was large, bed a bit hard though, lots of TV channels, wifi worked well other than on my last night between 10pm and 11pm when there was a temporary service interruption.
Unfortunately, my room wasn't made up after my first night but the staff made it up every other morning.
The major disappointment here was breakfast. Although I skipped breakfast the first morning, I would find I didn't miss anything. There is only white toast with margarine and jam, one curry dish with rice (changes daily), sliced tomatoes, sweet orange juice and instant coffee/tea. For 600 Baht the hotel is quite adequate though.
