Pai my guest was good value for money. It was clean, the room was fine and pool was nice (although perhaps a little green). Staff were very kind and even paid for our taxi to and from the bus station which was a lovely gesture. However, there were a few issues that you may not get with a more expensive hotel. The water in sink and toilet often came out slightly brown, shower had very poor water pressure and hot water didn't work on a few occasions (but was able to be fixed). The air conditioner was poorly installed, struggled to cool the room and periodically had bits of ice or water spit out of it. The location is a 10 minute walk out of town, but only 2 minutes if you hire a scooter. You can't really hire taxis so those are your options for getting into town. Overall we had a good experience here and for the price we paid you really can't complain about these small issues.
