Great budget hotel

Chang Siam Inn is a nice, clean, new boutique budget hotel in the center of Bangkok. I think that pretty much says it all and can certainly recommend it. It has a nice traditional wooden decor, and being a new hotel its in a good condition. There is no breakfast option.
The best thing was the location - right around the corner is the Soi (side street) with lots of great food (both street stands and restaurants) and massages. At the same time, the room was quiet. 7 minutes walking distance to Ratchaprarop Airport Link Station. Roughly the same distance (7 - 10 minutes walking - unless you're a woman stopping at every street clothes stand :) ) to the Pratunam stop for the Saen Saep Canal Express Boat. This will get you to the old city center.
When trying to find it, look for the large Ramada hotel across the street.

Nice, boutique Thai style hotel near shopping area

Don't expect a smile
Bad customer relationship. 1100Bahts for walk-in I stayed for 1 night only and move another hotel.
