This hotel is for those wanting to see Koh Phi Phi or to use it as a base for activities.
We stayed here while we dived on Koh Phi Phi although this seems to be the most expensive place to dive in Thailand.
There's a good buffet breakfast with hot and cold foods.
It's a 10 minute flip flop walk into town but only 3 minutes to either the North or South Beach.
There are bars close by.
Be aware that Koh Phi Phi has become a destination for mass Chinese tourists and as a result, the island has developed to cater for these.
Maya beach is NOT worth visiting. It has most definitely lost its charm and you certainly won't want another 1000 tourists in your photos... Although, if you just want to get to a film set then crack on! It will cost you about 400B per person for the taxi/tour bout to the island and then another 100B per person for some random, probably made up, tourist tax. Maya bay is fulllll of tourists and boats. It is not tranquil, you'd be better off saving the money and staying on one of the Eastern beaches around the island... they are fantastic.
