Good location

Rooms are dark because no windows. Bath room ergonomy is not good, the shower doesn't have a handle that I can take in my hand, only the bathtub. Buffet breakfast is good with many choices.
Staff attitude was mixed. There was a lady at the reception who suggested what and how to visit in Chiang Mai, she is particularly nice and helpful.
Internet is airport style with all the guests using the same username / password. One day we returned late to the hotel and could not log on because the maximum number of connections has been reached.
We were invited to the year end party on check-in and was asked to register beforehand. When we went downstairs to attend, we were lost where to register, so asked a woman (who turned out to be the owner). She started yelling in Thai, we had no idea why. At the end, we were still seated, but didn't leave a good impression with us.
