A relaxing place just out of town centre

When we first arrived we were a little concerned about the location of Golden Hill. However, while the hotel is out of the town centre, it remedies this by providing an efficient on demand shuttle to anyplace in the town centre. After dinner in town we simply rang the very helpful receptionists and they sent the van to pick us up. The pool was refreshing and the plentiful breakfast was backed up by extremely friendly and helpful dining room team. Our room was clean and tidy and although we had a few issues with the wifi (ok once you were connected) we were pretty comfortable. It was good to have a lift in the hotel. Overall our stay here (6 days）was relaxed and comfortable.

Does the job
We only had one night here, but it was just a stroll to all the restaurants (though they had a free shuttle anyway) Clean room. Adequate breakfast.

Good budget hotel
Rooms was nice and big and everything worked. Balcony was looking at the back of a house not a garden but this wasn't the end of the world. Bed wasn't the most comfy but got us through the night.

Typical 3 star in Thailand but a 2 star in North America
Breakfast was ok because it included unlimited, decent coffee. It had a great pool. It’s a little off the beaten track but a decent $40 cdn/ night hotel.

Good value for the money
