Beautiful hotel near BTS

Recently had the opportunity to stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Bangkok situated at Sumhumvit 26. The hotel is located within walking distance to the BTS Station Phrom Phong.(less than 5 minutes) We were warmly welcomed upon arrival with complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies. As we arrived early, the staff were really helpful in allowing us to check in early and were very attentive to our needs and requests. The room was beautiful with a large bed and the adjoining bathroom is equally impressive. A wide range array of amenities were provided. For the ladies, yes they do have a hair dryer. The water power is great. The swimming pool and gym are located at level 7. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity during this visit to try their restaurants as there are plenty of street food available just steps away from the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to quite a few tourist spots, malls, cinemas and restaurants. The overall stay at the hotel has been truly relaxing.
