Cracking hotel

when I booked the Baanilrath hotel, i did it without checking any reviews or doing much research, and what a great Gem this hotel was. the entrance was so quaint, with a little water feature,waterlilies and a small windmill turnimg slowly, there were also a set of chimes making a gentle and relaxing niose in the breeze, hotel reception was fine, check-in was fast and painless, staff were very helpfull always smiling and keen to talk to you. My room was on the 3rd floor and was fine, clean, modern, there was a tiny issue of the sliding door at the balcony not locking but the great maintenance lady had that adjusted in 10 mins.. the TV reception and channel list could have been better, but hey, I m not in Hua Hin to sit and watch tv. the WiFi was fine also and air con quiet and very functual. the bathriom was modern with brand name fixtures there was the standard sink, bath with shower above, and a separate large shower area with sliding door, spotlessly clean. water pressure was great and stable. hotel was very quiet with not many guests at all but it was low season and almost every where else was the same. the hotel location was Fab, within walking distance to the lovely historic train station and in the opposide direction to the town centre for bars restaurants, food carts and beach All no more than a 10 min walk from the hotel. cleaning staf in hotel were fab also, folding your fresh towels to make them look like animals, great service. breakfast is served just opposite from the main hotel entrance, up 2 small staircases. food was fine also and the 2 ladies there were very happy and helpfull.
Overall, a great stay in the Baanilrath and I would definetly recommend it to anyone would I stay there again, probably not but only as I very seldom stay in the same hotel more than once. but honestly folks, this hotel is a Gem..
