Quiet despite busy street

We requested a room on a high floor but got one on the second floor above reception which was disappointing. The hotel is in the centre of town with restaurants and bars all around. There is food of all kinds including Thai but do not expect spicy as customers, mostly older European couples do not want it that way. Our room was comfortable and kept spotlessly clean, the staff are nice and keen to please. Breakfast was adequate.
