Overpriced

We were excited to come here, as it was the most per night and we were hoping for the best ($140/night).
When we arrived, the grounds looked overgrown and poorly taken care of. As we went into our room, I was hit with a flying cock roach in the chest, killed 10 mosquitoes, and were shocked at the "upgrade" we received, as it looked like we were living in a small box.
I really was trying to get out of my 4 night stay, but Agoda was not having it, so we were forced to stick it out (as I was not about to coug up $400+).
As far as the beach, pool, and breakfast, those saved this Review from disaster. Located down the beach from the party resorts, the beach and water is much better, clean, and peaceful. The pool is relaxing, and beachfront helps. The morning breakfast is nothing special, standard American fare and pastries, nothing like full Thai breakfasts we have had Up inn Chiang Mai (Green Tiger House is amazing to stay)!
If it was $60-70/night, it would be 4 stars...

Dissapointed stay
