All we wanted
Airport pick-up and drop was provided, as arranged. The Resort is a 15 minute drive from the airport. It has 30 cottages and we had booked a sea view room, which was fabulous. You could see a wide view of the beach and sea sitting right inside the room. My wife who took a couple of morning walks up and down Chaweng beach insisted that our resort was at the best part of the beach.
The infinity pool with a walk up bar was well maintained. Breakfast had a reasonable assortment of items. Restaurant caters mainly to sea food lovers, and as vegetarians, we didn't have much choice. Restaurants and shopping areas are close by and the nightlife areas of Green Mango and Reggae Sois are at walkable distance. As the resort is small but has a large property, there is a lot of quiet and peace around. The immediate accessibility to the sea for a swim is a huge plus. Jet skis at 1000 Bht per 20 minutes and other boat rides were available within 50 metres of the resort. Overall it is a great place to stay if you don't mind the price (since less expensive accommodation next to the beach is also available nearby) but considering the facilities provided and standards maintained it is also good value for money. I would definitely go there again.
