Great room but confusing staff.

We were the only people there for until 2am. The staff decided to send a couple with young children into the room right next to us. The rest of the place is empty. That disturbed our sleep a little.
Breakfast?? Totally confusing. Yes, no, you can order, you can't, go over there, wait here...umm...we will just leave... Thank you.
Minus the staff the room is wonderful and the terrace view of the river is perfect as the evening sun drops away. A short walk around reveals many decent restaurants, and a small bottle shop allowed us to buy 45 baht Beer Lao to relax with. Right next to the place is a restaurant that served nice food and had a karaoke room downstairs with lots of English songs.
Mae Sariang is wonderful. Visit the place and check it out.

Nice location, great room beautiful hotel
Had a bit of confusion about which room I booked but we worked it out. Nice hotel, really scenic. Would stay again.

It was ok
The stay was ok. if the room can be more lighted and toilet more pleasant, i reckon it will be a great hotel. However breakfast view was fantastic though

fantastic stay, great simple breakfast, good coffee. restaurant across the street with live music
would easily stay here again. great service, all friendly staff,, highly recommend for anyone in the area or planning the mae hong son loop out of Chiang Mai!
