An oasis in the heart of Bangkok

We wanted somewhere central but quiet - a BIG ask. We found it here. Tucked away off the main Soi this hotel was our quiet at the end of busy, noisy Bangkok days. Check in was very easy, staff was welcoming and spoke good English. Rooms were large and clean, bathroom was modern with a shower over a full sized bath tub. The outdoor swimming pool is small(ish) but clean and a bonus in the heart and heat of the city. Two eating houses within the hotel - one Thai, one Western - both providing delicious, inexpensive food. The Western one, Arno's, offers room service before 10pm. Hotel location is perfect for exploring - a 2 mins walk to the main Soi, 10 mins to either of the nearest BTS or Patpong market. Two small niggles - our non smoking room windows didn't open (the air con was good though) and there was sometimes a faint musty smell in the corridors. Silom is a great area, it felt safe, almost 'village' like. Would definitely re-visit and recommend this hotel.
