Golen Tulip Mangosteen - a gateaway from the usual

We stayed for 2 nights. We hired a car to drive to the resort from the airport. the resort is located on the southern part of Phuket, in the Rawai/Chalong area. Finding the resort if you are going for the first time took a challenge as it is located off a small track road from the main trunk road. But we found the place and was suitably impressed - villas atop a hill overlooking the sea, greenery and vegetation surrounding it. Not your usual hotel with lots of people. this place is more suitable for a romantic gateaway and couples will love it. There is a lovely gym overlooking the sea. Staff are friendly. The villas are suitably comfortable although I would prefer it if the design and decor are a little bit more modern. The bathroom is of the outdoor kind with pebbles etc etc and rustic. I find this a little unfriendly for my taste esp coming in at night. But otherwise, a great resort for a comfortable relaxing and romantic gateaway

Beautiful Resort with Improvement Potentials

Not suitable for kids
I visited this hotel with my wife and one-year-old kid. For a family like us it is not suitable to stay at this hotel. Suitable for couple without children to take care of.
