This hotel could be amazing. The facilities are superb. A few things made us really not enjoy our stay here. Firstly, the beach was dominated during the day with Chinese tourists coming in on longtail/speedboat day trips, so it was loud with no sense of luxury as the price suggests. Our time in the cocktail bar watching the sunset was also ruined by a Chinese tourist constantly bringing up phlegm and spitting on the pateo, UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I have given the staff 4 stars and this is purely based on their effort and friendliness. We have stayed at a number of high end resorts and felt the staff here were not trained to as good a standard, and maybe lacked professionalism. That said, they were extremely nice and gave 110% with a smile. Overall we were really disappointed and would not return, unless they somehow stop boats coming into the beach and dropping off tourists, and have some strict rules on etiquette whilst in the bars/restaurants put in place with penalties if not complied with
