Signed up a diving package with the room provided in the resort. Whole body got bitten by bed bugs and couldn’t sleep the entire night. Approached the reception second day and they have like kind of predicted attitude as they speak thai in between each other which I can understand a little. Booked superior room with full price and no apology was given. Reception has the worst attitude I have ever seen. No smile and the service I received seem to be I’m at fault instead of theirs. They offered laundry service as they were afraid that I will transfer the bugs to the new room. Superior room with balcony is newly renovated and comfortable. However, there are red ants along the ceiling wall and sometimes climb to the bed, but I didn’t find it too much issue. I have been traveling so many places and this is my first experience encounter with bed bugs. I asked my course mate and they were assigned with different type of room which is much better and cleaner. I hope they did not do it on purpose to make me pay for the upgrade. Thanks to the diving school which add lots of value to this trip.
