Lower your expectations

We were given a cottage in a noisy location and they moved us to a nice beachside cottage. Loved the view, the sea, the beach. The pool is modest, good for families and divers' practice. The hotel is spread out and requires lots of walking and many steps. It is best for young people, honeymooners, families, and divers who do not expect luxury. Many people rent motorbikes and it looks like half of the young tourists have bandages from motorbike accidents. The roads are steep and can be wet and sandy. The hotel is not far from shops and restaurants but really not much value in either. Stay away from the farang food; the Thai food is much better. Go for the beach, snorkeling, and diving; stay in Koh Phagnan for better hotels and beaches; stay in Samui for the nightlife.

Great Stay

New condo style units. Clean
Location was good but a bit of a walk to downtown. Perfect if you want out of the way. Quiet for sleeping and good beach. Staff were helpful
