Perfect location if you want to avoid the crowds.
Pros: away from the noise and crowds of Chaweng town centre, great beach 2 mins across the road (with a fabulous beach cafe - we had lunch there most days), good breakfast choice, onsite restaurant and bar, pool size and quality, polite and helpful staff, free shuttle bus into town every evening.
Cons: it can be noisy. The hotel is on a main road so there is traffic noise, but it's not too bad at night. There's some sort of skate facility next door, but the noise doesn't come from people (there's usually a tiny number of small children there on the odd occasion), it's from the dogs that congregate there at night and sometimes get into barking matches! Pool can get really busy, so it's handy the beach is right across the road. The local shops and restaurants are a short walk away but getting to them can be dodgy as there's no pavement.
In summary, if you want to be away from the chaos of town but close enough to venture in now and then, this place is perfect.
