The resort was easy to find, located on the main highway between Sukhothai old city and Sukhothai town. The rooms were comfortable, with nice beds and a sofa to relax on. Only problem was due to the relative lack of space in the rooms, the sofa wasn't facing the TV nor were the beds facing the TV either.
Breakfast was very basic, either rice gruel with pork or white toast with jam (or both) and instant tea/coffee/ovaltine. Nothing to write home about at all, but typical of rural Thai hotels that are termed resorts.
Overall a comfortable stay on New Year's Eve and despite being a festive time, the hotel and surroundings were fairly quiet except for some brief fireworks around midnight.
