Good budget hotel

Overall this is a great value for the money. Efficient staff at the check-in, room was spacious and very clean. Attractive looking units in a garden setting with a decent pool in the center. Good parking and right on HWY 4. Only downside was the breakfast that was included with the room. 1 cold sunnyside egg , and a few weiners of some sort, a slice of ham , some heavily mayoed salad and half a piece of cold white toast. It didnt appear as tho there was any other choices. There was instant coffee , some teas and orange juice . Likely the poorest inclusive breakfast we have had in any hotel as most others are buffet style with eggs made to order. Outside of that, enjoyable stay at Baan Chuengkao Resort.

better than functional
A pleasant surprise even if it is quite a way out of Ranong. Comfy room and nice little garden set up. Slightly dubious breakfast (ok, but not for me..) - to be fair a good place for a one night stop... อ่านต่อ

Ok, will do if you must stay in Ranong for the big
It was pleasant for don't sit outside to appreciate the gardens unless you've put on lots of mosquito spray! Ranong isn't really a destination but more of a transit city and this place works well for ... อ่านต่อ

Not Impressed
I didn't find this hotel to be very comfortable. I was also looking forward to the swimming pool, but it was quite dirty and unappealing.

Good clean place, friendly staff
Quiet place with a small restaurant. Staff are friendly. But location is away from city centre, so would need transport.
