Peaceful and pristine

After spending time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Pai was just what we needed. Pura Vida is close to Pai's downtown where there are restaurants, bars and markets but it's not right in it which we found refreshing. It's a 5-10 minute drive away in the countryside (they picked us up from the bus station upon arrival and we rented scooters for getting around during our stay which they kindly set up for us). The landscape surrounding Pura Vida is stunning and the view from our bungalow was heavenly. The property grounds were also lovely including a pond with fish and lots of different flowers. Lots to do in Pai -- waterfalls, temples, hot springs, caves...just riding around and seeing the landscape was dreamy enough for us. Loved this hotel and would stay there again!

It was the hidden gem of Pai located a few kilometers outside of the downtown area.
