Mountain oasis

I'd read wonderful things about the owners, which was a huge part of why I booked the place. They lived up to their reputation. They were responsive and prompt in their communication prior to my arrival.
The resort was a few miles from the town center, but they arranged a scooter rental so it was really not a big deal at all. Pai is a very small town anyways. The resort itself was gorgeous and very well-maintained. There are only a few bungalows, so book ahead of time! Although there were other bungalows, there was a lot of privacy and I felt as if I had the grounds entirely to myself when I was there.
There isn't any food available besides what's served at breakfast (which is amazing. by the way) so I would prepare ahead of time by buying snacks to keep in the fridge in case you find yourself hungry in the middle of the night.
The owner recommended wonderful places to eat where I could try some regional dishes. She even arranged transportation for me from Pai back to Chiang Mai airport.
Such a warm and wonderful host.

It was the hidden gem of Pai located a few kilometers outside of the downtown area.
