Enjoyed our stay

Overall Whalecome Aonang Resort is a great value and in a great location. The rooms are spacious with walk up sliding doors looking out to the courtyard. I didn't like that housekeeping would keep the shades open after they cleaned the rooms, revealing all our luggage to everyone that walked by. It's not a big resort so there aren't too many rooms or too many people, making it a quiet setting. There's a nice pool that many people used, but we did not. Nor did we get the breakfast. The location is up a gravel hill from the main road, maybe not the best for those that aren't very mobile, but it's in close walking distance to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. You can also rent a motorbike for only 250 baht which is a great deal and from someone you can trust. They also had refreshments for sale including beer at 7-eleven prices.
