Rooms are old, dirty windows and sticky dirty floors and curtains, uncomfortable bed, doors dont close properly big gaps all around the frame (ants, mosquitos entering), balcony dirty and no seats, only place to sit is in the restaurant, no deck chairs for the smaller rooms, staff lazy and bored, friendliness ok but absolutely no extra effort was made, having a coffee 10 minutes earlier because of a trip we planned was not possible, price for 1 large beer 140 THB plus service charge is just a bad idea. Even resorts with excellent facilities and service charge less, food was average, the surroundings (nearby streets) are the worst we have seen in Koh Chang, full of garbage. You find much better hotels for the same or even smaller amount. Check out the north of white sand beach f.ex.
