Part of me liked the seclusion of this resort -- the dirt road ride in was fun! Another part of me was less enthusiastic about essentially being stuck there: it's a shame that the food isn't great (& so incredibly overpriced) & that the beach is unusable for swimming when the tide is out (which seems to be the case for most of the island's beaches.) It might be best to take a lot of boat tours elsewhere, or rent a scooter & go exploring around the island.
Wifi was super unreliable across the resort. The rooms are by no means soundproof -- if you have a neighbor who, say, has a crying child all night long, you, too, will suffer. Expect to hear at least one child wailing at every meal. The A/C was useless at cooling the room by more than a few degrees.
That said, the staff were so friendly & quite professional. The resort itself is beautiful, as was our room, with its lovely outdoor shower. We were glad to have spent a few days here.
