Fancy
Absolutely gorgeous hotel and setting, with every amenity one could imagine. The only issue with staying at fancy places like that is the clientele are often a bit pretentious, which we did find to be the case. Kinda stuffy. Wasn't a fan of the dress code at the restaurant, etc. Yes there is a non dress code restaurant next door, but still. Rooms were great, super comfy beds and pillows. Pool was amazing. Drinks were pretty good, but expensive. Definitely go to the happy hour from 4-6 for 2 for 1 drinks! Didn't seem like there were a ton of easy options for food/drinks around outside. I mean, there are, but you have to work a bit for it. They definitely want to keep you on their beautiful property. Enjoyed working with the activities coordinator, who arranged for a taxi to take us all around the island, stopping at various spots for sightseeing. I had a massage that was pretty good, however, I specified that I would like some relief from pain in my jaw/face/head/neck from TMJ, and she barely touched it (even though it was my only request). Overall it was a great hotel, but just plain expensive.
