Four star resort with five star prices

This hotel has recieved excellent reviews in some hotel sites which made us book a week here in the end of March. We weren't overwhelmed by anything in this hotel, don't get me wrong it's a nice place, but for the money we paid we got exclusive five star experiences elsewhere on the island and other parts of Krabi.
Negatives: Basic materials in rooms, stone floor, poor water pressure in shower etc. Four star charter type hotel standard. Hotel uses same towels for beach/pool and in room use. They feel dirty and of low quality textile. Only one restaurant at resort, you get tired of menu after a couple of days. Also service not great, waited 30+ minutes for lunch and drinks on a couple of occasions.
Positives: Nice excursions to Koh Rok and Phi Phi Islands. Recommended. Free WiFi and actually pretty speedy internet which isn't common in Thailand..

I would really recommend staying here, we came for the weekend. The room was clean and nice. The service is excellent.
