Pretty hotel with most stunning grounds
we were most impressed with the overall look and exterior of the hotel as it was massive with so much greenery and lushness. the pool is great (with drinks that were pricey, boo) and really was a breathtaking view to just relax at. although, when it came to the deluxe room itself, it wasn't as spectacular as we hoped like the photos online which really showed the suites, villas, etc. if you are willing to spend a hefty fee to upgrade, it's for sure worth it as we toured many other rooms that were spectacular. the breakfast was phenomenal with espressos and hot/cold food. the only downside to this large property, was the feel that we were swallowed up in a large hotel. and it took forever to walk to and from our room on the third floor. my husband and i chose to stay a few nights here and then upgrade to another next door that had more of a boutique feel with the same associates working similar shifts and were use to seeing our face. also, the fact that we had to pay for internet was extremely discouraging as it really should be included in your room. most other hotels gave a code for the customers that lasted for the trip and not just 30 minutes. super annoying. overall, we would stay at this place again as the customer service was really nice and hotel was beautiful, but we personally recommend bophut resort and spa in a heartbeat (two hotels down) and were much more pleased with out stay there. plus, it was booked to the max in low season, which speaks for the satisfaction of it!
