Great Hotel, very spacious suite room

this was our fourth visit to the anantara, the hotel has a special feel to it, the staff are attentive and very helpful. the suite rooms are quite spacious and and well decorated. the location is excellent and on the egde of the fishing village where there are a great number of restaurants to choose from. the pool is good and on the edge of the beach. the beach however is very coarse sand and the sea shelves quite quickly so is not so children friendly. there is a pool bar but no actual beach bar which is always a nice place to relax at the end of the day. all in all however i would still choose the anaantara next time i visit koh samui
