Great ambiance and beautiful spaces

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Anantara Bophut Resort and Spa. My wife, infant daughter and I stayed there for four nights. The staff was very helpful, often helping offering to help carry our stroller up/down stairs (tip: If you have an infant request a ground-level floor--there are NO ELEVATORS).

The pool was fantastic and we spent hours there. I've been to better beaches though. Not sure if all of Samui is the same, but the sand at Bophut was very coarse. Though with an infant the pool was easier anyway.

The staff was friendly and responsive. And they gave you a LOT of free bottled water in your room (though they did charge for the same water if you ordered it in a restaurant).
