Luxury and charm

This was the last place we stayed on our honeymoon and we really loved it. We spent 2 nights prior at Chaweng Noi and Saraan which was modern but sterile and the area had little or no charm. We didn't like Chaweng it was too tacky (OK for a fun night out but wouldn't want to actually stay there).
Bophut was cool and charming and there are no girly bars. The Anantara is a few mins walk from town and has so much charm which is often lost in large hotels. In short we loved it here. The guest activities program meant we would have liked to have stayed longer and enjoyed the Thai lessons and cooking courses. We did play petanque on the lawn and enjoyed the lethal happy hour at the swim up bar. The attention to detail in this place is second to none, the lobby and library make you feel like you've stepped onto a movie set and the water features and flame torches at night a nothing short of spectaclar. Recommend it 100%

Anantara Resort

Great Resort
