Fantastic retreat if you're looking for some peaceful downtime out of mainstream

Where the jungle meets the ocean, private beaches are fine for a swim or snorkel, other more tourist beaches close by. A little isolated so if wanting to venture out, suggest own transport or hire a driver. Food menu could have a little more variation but is good quality. Staff are fantastic, friendly and accommodating. Pool is a great location and other reviews about it being poor or dirty are incorrect, there is a little grout missing in a couple of areas but it's the perfect spot to cool off overlooking the resort and glimpses of the water while having a pinacolada or three. Such a relaxing experience, hired the beach side rooms and worth every penny to wake up to a magic view across the bay. We stayed 5 days/4 nights and will definitely be back for a longer stay A big thanks to the restaurant staff for making our stay so wonderful.
