Beuatiful but way too expensive for what you get

beautiful resort, it is picture perfect. people are nice, the location is good, the land is beautifully architectured, the spa is good and the food is good (both reasonably priced too) - but too many things are not working as it should at this price! do not book a sea breeze studio. the rooms are way too close to reception, bar, restaurant and spa and as a result it is constantly noisy in the room, any private conversations/music etc. in your room should be kept very low not to let everyone hear. also you have to keep the curtains down when changing clothes etc. room amenities are below standard. when we arrived there was no hairdryer, no beach bag, no phone in the room, no mosquito repellent for electronic heater. the minibar had not been restocked and had used, half full bottles in it - after having been made aware, the bar was restocked but the used bottles not removed. the next day the minibar was not restocked again, also new face cloths were missing. there is no aircon in the sea breeze rooms as there are no walls - there was one very weak fan that hardly made a difference during the night; too hot for april nights, it needs to be changed asap. the toilet leaked on to the floor every day and only one electric plug worked out of four in the room which forced us to charge electronic devices in the bathroom. all of the beach towels smelled bad once wet. one night heavy smoke filled the air for about an hour, forcing us to sleep with a wet cloth over over mouth and nose (guessing it was trash being burned nearby). clearly the smoke easily gets in when there are no walls and the fan is weak. lastly the no walls issue posted a challenge as our neighbours were a very, let's call it 'active' and loud romantic couple - too much to be honest.
a third of the rate would have sufficed imo. i have been to 15+ resorts in thailand.
