while indoor and outdoor living keeps you close to nature, the property makes every effort to comfortably blend the line between the two. as the infinity edge of the pool keeps a low profile on the seemingly endless horizon, the daily afternoon teatime flows nicely into a reasonably priced happy hour. as for daybreak, i’m not sure if all reservations include breakfast as ours did. either way, it’s not to be missed with a well-appointed delectable balance of east and west.

i feel like i’m gushing here, but it was truly a wonderful stay. with a warm and professional locally based staff, supported with international management experience, this was my favorite of our several stops in thailand. also, as an aside, and as my friends and colleagues will confirm, i’m generally a very tough critic.

ps – you must be sure to sign up for a spa treatment, following a day of kayaking through the mangroves.

Beautiful getaway
