Really just a chain "luxury" hotel. For whatever reason Orient Express Company wanted to have a property in Samui so they put this place up. The villas are on the side of the hill and by the beach. It's quiet and peaceful

Bad ac and bed
The ac unit was simply not strong enough. Coupled with a bed that was way too soft it made it very hard to sleep.

Luxury hotel
It was a pleasure staying at the Belmond Koh Samui. Understated luxury, at its finest. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds, delicious food. It felt like our own private hideaway.

Very relaxing place. Professional, helpful staff.
We stayed for one night only, but would have loved to stay longer. Great hotel!
